I want to change my Airtel postpaid sim to prepaid 
. My usage currently exists tremendously less I enjoy normal calling (1 or 2 person in a day).
Is there any way to get postpaid to prepaid without stepping out of the home.
And what you guys thinks which is better postpaid or prepaid🤔.[I was annoyed 
by the charge they were taking (it was 250+ rs per month) and suddenly they stopped some of there recharge plans, I was using plan of 199 
and they upgraded it to 250rs).

keep port on postpaid.. they will call you and tell them that postpaid is expensive i want to move to jio prepaid .. they will ask you to clear postpaid bill and immediately they will change ur sim to prepaid.. last month i did

I ported my 15yrs old no. from voda postpaid to jio prepaid 10days ago. Not a heavy user by any means was paying 352incl GST pm. Now using 199 plan. Plan to take 2399 365days plan. After idea merger voda n/w is just trash at my location. I tested a new jio sim for 8months before finally deciding to ditch Voda. Was happy with reception at my house and at my wife’s office location. Was called thrice by voda retention team and was offered plans which were very good. However was told that n/w issues was to be checked in 3days time. We only have 4 days time to get no. ported else you have to wait 6mnths for next port, i think.
As someone said, had to stepout of house to get get all dues cleared from Vodafone and had to submit adress proof.
Plan to port atleast two more nos. to jio from Voda as both my parents are also facing same n/w issue.
@mrKool_JJ (bro please tag other mumbaian’s also) want to port from airtel to other operator. But dont which one is better already using jio too 
. Is Vi good?? Help me in this 
I am using Airtel from the past 10 years and haven’t faced any problems bro. Where are you based in Mumbai ? Do check your network on their open network page too.
Ported my Vodafone postpaid WB to Airtel Punjab prepaid..Rs 50 charge for Airtel SIM..bill cleared in advance.. only adhar card required.. porting done in 5 days..297 FRC was carried out by shop owner(least was 197).. security charge for postpaid stuck with Vodafone..no idea whether I’ll get it …tried online for conversion to Vodafone postpaid to Vodafone prepaid but cc guy says not possible..store visit required
in delhi airtel network is worst , they have no 3G , and there 4G is like on and off so , signal changes from half to zero in same place

after conversion, How did you recharged FRC? – Online/Airtel Gallery/Retailer
For prepaid conversion u need to visit store n fill form also produce vaild address document,finally clear off any arrears in postpaid connection…
