Airtel recharge successful but data pack problem

i had recharged with 1498 pack in feb 2020. Then did 251 recharge for 50gb in july. Now yesterday did another 1498 to stack. Validity has increased to 2023 as expected. But the 251 data pack validity remains the same expiring feb 2022 AND the data being consumed is from the stacked yearly plan and not the data plan thats expiring earlier. Any suggestions except deriding airtel?

There will take your existing validity of active plan for 251 one and will not extend it’s validity in any case.
This once happened with me, mine also gone waste.
Now ported out from Airtel

Add on data plans have the same validity as that of currently active plan. It’s same for Jio as well.

But data being deducted from the plan which is not even active yet is something I’ve never heard before. You should definitely register a complaint regarding this.

You can’t do anything. You should have asked confirmation from CC before recharging. VI & Airtel is not as generous as Jio when it comes to queuing plans & add on benefits.

data plan validity not extending i think is fair
but stacked plan being used up is ridiculous 😡
