Airtel says its network is now 5G ready, shows live 5G services
Airtel on Thursday announced that it has become the country’s first telco to successfully demonstrate and orchestrate live 5G service over a commercial network in Hyderabad city.

They have implemented the new DND (called dlt) rules ahead of Jio & BSNL… now this..

I experienced Airtel’s 4G speed couple of years ago. It was giving out less than 64 kbps (yes, lower than dial up). So I’m sure this 5G speeds will be insanely better, like 256 kbps at least.
Marketing gimmick???
How can they deploy 5G on commercial wavelength when spectrum is yet to be auctioned
They said demonstrated so must be tested over the small scale only.
Must a gimmick as airtel can’t be trusted on these.
Company that wants(ed) to delay the 5G spectrum auction, now all of a sudden is going around advertising it is ready for 5G. Something is fishy. Big time.
Looks like Jio’s 5G is coming sooner than expected. 
Remember 4G platinum, premium 4G and all those marketing gimmick 😂
