Please call customer care immediately, who knows someone swap your sim purposely

Did u recharged your sim with any smart plan etc..? I guess if Airtel sim is not recharged with any smart plan for 90 days,it will be allotted to others.correct me if i am wrong.

They wiil be sending a SMS too..that your sim is damaged & you need to replace it at retailer/store for Rs100

Sim is damaged only,
In case of sim expiry phone shows sim but no network, “no sim” shows only when sim is damaged

Same issue. Replaced an airtel SIM yesterday. Had to pay 50Rs.

how old is your present SIM (not connection)? and location?

Contact via twitter/fb. error is strange

call from other number if it says number is switched off it means sim damaged , go nearby store and take replacement sim
If it says number temporarily not available / not a valid number then forget it .

Airtel wale kyaa har company wale chor hai……agar sim kharab nhi hogi to sim replacement krvane ke paise nhi milenge in choroo kooo…….1month pahle meri voda ki sim bhi……network nhi dikhaa rhi thi kisi bhi phone mai…… Manually krne par failed to registered network aa rha thaa……maine kuch naa karke sim ko dusre phone mai lagaa kar chodh dia…..ek mahine baad apne aap network aa gye…..inko laga hoga sim replacement ka customer aa jayega……lakin thanks to lockdown and modiji jinhone mere 50rs bachaaa lie

For upi verification sms shud be sent right? Then wat i have to do for sms pack?

M also facing same problem. Airtel sim suddenly stopped working and cc said there is a problem with sim so get it changed by paying 25

even mine went dark few days back due to cyclone but it’s well now.
talking about experience once my Aircel sim stopped working from 8PM to 6Am .. every other aircel sim was working though ( on same house ) – I was worried as there was 3 to 4 items to be delivered next day but thankfully it started getting network from 6am next day.

i faced exactly same issue with my idea sim on 31 mar….no sms call..in or out….i cursed dem on Twitter…called cc a dozen times…bt no use…..
finally after 1.5 mnths shop opened n i did sim replacement at 100 rs….bloody idea….had nightmare..wat if sim was cloned or new sim taken by some1 else…its very risky….try to contact their store asap

Looks like Airtel wants customer to maximize their sim usage, only those customer with minimal usage, who just wants to keep their sim alive is facing this issue…

Same happened with my sim, no resoltion by airtel

Seems to happen with Airtel more than often, as though it’s planned :S

My dad, Brother in law and my Airtel SIM sort of went down at the same time in like 2-3 weeks time frame, not sure how that is possible.. For two sims they charged 29 (or 49/- can’t remember), for one they didn’t, not sure what the rule is for getting a new sim)

mine airtel number suddenly stopped working, tried changing slots and also tried in another device.. no network.. all this happened in early morning, but still 18 days validity showing in airtel app.. anybody have any solution

Sim not working is normal for Airtel/Vodafone after 1 or 2 years. Just go to their nearest service centre and replace it (I think 25rs is sim replacement charge). Seems they are doing it intentionally. 

Yes, this thing happened with me twice and I also started feeling that Airtel does it purposely because how it can be so frequently, planning to switch to another network. fed up with their fake promises.

Even I am a postpaid user still I faces network issue, what the hell I am paying for then ?
