4. Use a range extender, watch few YouTube videos. Use the internet as you do normally, no need to do anything extra.

Fiber is fast internet 100 mbps to 1 gbps whereas broadband uses copper cables which maxes out at 40 mbps

I also have airtel optic fiber at home but its not called xtreme and shows as broadband connection in the thanks app.

It means in a month of 30 days if you use 100Mbps plan for X days and then change to 40Mbps plan, they will charge 100Mbps price for those X days and 40Mbps price for remaining (30-X) days.

Does it support upto 1 gbps speeds?

I really like airtel fiber as we always get much more speed than our plan.. like i have 40 mbps plan and i always get around 60 mbps..

If possible get axis airtel card so you get 25% cashback per months upto 300 on bill payment 

also if you want more speed then you should go for airtel black if you have other airtel product like postpaid or dth.. like for fiber+dth = 1099 plan is best speed is 200 mbps ….

Airtel xstream fiber or jio gigafiber? Both available in my area. Which should I opt for? Going for base plan

Go with airtel fiber and parally take Airtel axis card you will get 25% more benefit

Does jio broadband has monthly postpaid, for new connection it is showing only 3 or 6months option

For my office connection, they told us that "we don’t provide landline set, purchase your device and connect it to router. So had to purchase a landline device for it. @shraaj

That’s different thing (set/device) bro… Currently there is no output from landline port. Given landline number is not connecting (working).

I have nokia router at home, it has telephone out as well. Maybe the routers with telephone out are not in stock that’s why they have put normal fibre routers.

earlier they used to call Airtel broadband (copper based service ).

Do they actually provide a landline set to anyone? I thought they only provided a landline connection, the handset has to be purchased by the subscriber.

Even my cousin installed a fibre connection just few days ago, but they are not providing any landline set. You have to purchase it by yourself. Anyone, who got landline set from them?

I also took airtel xstream today. Speed is too good. I have also taken broadband connection for first time. I have taken 200mbps plan. I wanted to know can I sell Hotstar and Amazon 1year complimentary offers? As i Don’t have any use of those.. will it work on any other number other then my registered number? If anyone know pls help.

One more question- how to get ebill/invoice/receipt of the first time payment? I didn’t rcvd mail…airtel guy was also not sure on that. I need that to claim in reimbursement
