Hello,

Today,I Installed Airtel Xstream Connection at my 3rd tier hometown.

I have Paid – Rs 2829 and i think i got installation free because 799Rs Plan for 3 months including GST is 943*3= 2829Rs

1. 100 Mbps plan for 90 days ,but i am getting more than 350Mbps when checked on Phone!😄
2. About 100 Meters Extra Cable is Tangled at My Home and they told me whenever you required use it or while shifting it will be helpful.
3. Wi-Fi Router of ZTE Brand and on that it has written Airtel Xstream
4. They told i will get landline later on for unlimited phone calls after 6 months

Speed is just awesome and its my first time in my life that i am using Fiber or Broadband Connection at My Home!

Jio is Delaying Launch at our Hometown from Last 3 years and Airtel came back behind them and launched last months like superfast. Jio is just creating Hype and I think i should not talk about BSNL. When enquired ,BSNL officers told me they have given contract of there broadband to private person and that person is charging me 6000Rs around for 50Mbps UNLIMITED DATA Plan so,i dropped that idea.

1. Can i downgrade to 499 Mbps plan after 3 months ?
2. Is there any FUP limit or true unlimited as they says ?
3. Anything which i need to know?

4.What is the best way to use this broadband in a best way like i dont have smartTV at my Home so,mostly on Laptops and Smartphones my family will use, but just today i checked the range is not good like my house is of 3 floors and router is on 1st floor, when i go to ground floor range is disconnected any option to extend the range, please share ideas?

1. Yes
2. No, truly unlimited
3. None, it’s the best
4. Use a range extender, watch few YouTube videos. Use the internet as you do normally, no need to do anything extra.

Fiber is fast internet 100 mbps to 1 gbps whereas broadband uses copper cables which maxes out at 40 mbps

Pro-rata means?

It means in a month of 30 days if you use 100Mbps plan for X days and then change to 40Mbps plan, they will charge 100Mbps price for those X days and 40Mbps price for remaining (30-X) days.

I really like airtel fiber as we always get much more speed than our plan.. like i have 40 mbps plan and i always get around 60 mbps..

If possible get axis airtel card so you get 25% cashback per months upto 300 on bill payment

also if you want more speed then you should go for airtel black if you have other airtel product like postpaid or dth.. like for fiber+dth = 1099 plan is best speed is 200 mbps ….

For my office connection, they told us that "we don’t provide landline set, purchase your device and connect it to router. So had to purchase a landline device for it. @shraaj

That’s different thing (set/device) bro… Currently there is no output from landline port. Given landline number is not connecting (working).

I have nokia router at home, it has telephone out as well. Maybe the routers with telephone out are not in stock that’s why they have put normal fibre routers.

Do they actually provide a landline set to anyone? I thought they only provided a landline connection, the handset has to be purchased by the subscriber.

+1,
Even my cousin installed a fibre connection just few days ago, but they are not providing any landline set. You have to purchase it by yourself. Anyone, who got landline set from them?
