Got it installed in a tier 3 city .
Paid – Rs 2829 …. Got following stuffs -
1. 100 Mbps plan for 90 days .
2. 133 meter wire from box to installation point . (100 mtrs was free by company paid 330 Rs for extra 33 mtrs )
3. Wi-Fi Router .
4. They told i will get landline latter for unlimited phone calls .
Speed etc is fine … now the real questions -
1. Can i downgrade to 499 Mbps plan after 3 months ?
2. Is there any FUP limit or true unlimited as they says ?
3. Anything more ? (like hidden T & C)
Please share your experiences .

Validity will extend ? or something like that …. can they charge back or ask modem/installation charges etc again ? Its airtel , have to be very careful .
Airtel is also charge for extra wire 😔
I applied for bsnl fiber connection 2000 extra for fiber wire 😔
I was not charged for wire. They haven’t checked the length of wire used.
Xtream box not taken?

I think your installation was completed in 100 mtrs wire range …. tats why no extra charges , yes they told that they will provide landline with unlimited calls option .
100 mts or 10 ..when I Enquired they said they vll give 10mtrs after tht RS.8 /meter .. or u take any long term plan..? @saymyname78
yes 90 days plan , paid 2829 only for plan … nothing extra (Only 330 rs from extra 33 mtrs wire)
Someone said in other thread that, after 3 months airtel raises bill for another 3 months instead of 1 month. Need to check on this. Anybody experienced?
In my case, airtel employee itself not suggested xsteam box. Just suggested to go for fire stick instead of xstream box saying that some extra recharge is mandatory for xstream box up n running

It is similar to TataSky Binge. you need actiave DTH subscription to watch same channes through internet.
I think it can be worked as secondary connection but no need to pay for 2nd connection.
Ex: DTH set top box is primary connection. and you can also watch through TataSky Binge or Xtream box in other TV.
I have no personal experiance but as per customer talk saying.

Was having BSNL FTTH (No issue with service, except for non existence customer care, pathetic selfcare and sarkari babu attitude)
Initially started with 100GB plan..moved to 30M than to 60M plan..speed was always as promised…..
Was the connection for home or office ?

Today I changed to 589 plan via airtel app , speed got reduced / validity got increased .

Need a clarification from Airtrel Xtream Box users here. I already have Airtel DTH connection with 5K balance in it and monthly deduction of 400+ for some stupid plan. If I go with Xtream box now, should I have to recharge monthly? Any additional charges?
Airtel Xtreme cannot function without a balance and some plan. To view any content, even if OTT content from a non Airtel app, the box needs to be in an “active” state, which means plan + balance. If you can get the balance transferred or make it available to your Xtreme account, then, at a rate of 400 something per month, it’ll keep on getting deducted.
How is the upload speed with 499 plan?
I am planning to apply Airtel Xtream Fiber after my GTPL plan expired in 1.5 month.
Upload in fibre is same as download, so on 40mbps plan, you will get both upload and download at 40mbps
Can we pay Airtel Xtream using amazon etc ? i.e utilizing broadband offers etc ?

Yes, they blocked the specific websites like P0rn, torrent etc. Amazon firestick works fine with Airtel Broadband
2day installed airtel fiber at my residence. They have given Router from NOKIA 
In speedtest app am getting 300mbps speed for plan 100mbps. 
i have a regional broadband provider they give 300-400mbps on 40mbps plan 
You can downgrade to 499 plan even after few days. I downgraded to 499 plan after 25 days
