AKSHNAV ONLINE (FLIPKART) Sent refurbished refrigerator twice
I recently purchased a Samsung 3-star double-door refrigerator (236 Ltr 2023 model) for Rs. 27.8k https://dl.flipkart.com/s/PS9V...uN from FLIPKART - SELLER - AKSHNAV ONLINE . The refrigerator was delivered as an open box, and initially, there were no damages or scratches. However, after two days, the refrigerator stopped working. I contacted Samsung, and an engineer informed me that the product was not authentic and probably refurbished as Samsung does not have condenser coil (JALI) on the outside. He advised me to get it replaced immediately. When I tried to request a replacement, the system automatically rejected it due to it being an open box delivery. I had to engage with customer support and provide various documents, including Samsung's confirmation, to open an issue. After 10 days of follow-ups, Flipkart agreed to approve the replacement. However, when I received the replacement, it turned out to be the same refurbished refrigerator from a seller. Frustrated by this, I kept both refrigerators in my possession and had a long conversation with the delivery hub manager, who acknowledged the issue. He suggested canceling the replacement and requesting a refund later, while Flipkart instructed me to accept the replacement and follow the return process, which could be cumbersome due to it being an open box delivery.
At present, I am holding both refrigerators and have demanded a refund while wanting to expose the seller involved in this fraudulent activity. It is concerning to think about how many innocent customers may have been affected by this seller's actions.
Guys what are your suggestion?
what process i should follow ?
Cancel the replacement or take the refurbished replacement again?

That must be a terrible fridge if the color has faded. The door is generally made of brushed metal, which will loose minor shine over the years but there wont be any out of the ordinary fading. Can you post some pics?
Remember that After cancelling/taking this replacement you would have to go through this mental hell again.
i am surprised how got to keep both products at the same instance, may be try to negotiate hard with Flipkart while the ball is still in your court, they have played with you now you play with them
That's correct , I would have to go through that tedious process again , that's why to keep things under my control i didn't even gave OTP and told hub manager to resolve my issue first only then I would release both shipments. Because hub managers have direct contact with operation management team.

In my area a offline store has opened who sells various refurbished or factory rejected electronics & appliances. I think you have got the freeze from similar type of seller who selling refurbished products by showing new in description. Actually a common man can't differentiate between new & refurbished just by seeing the outer side of a item. This is how cunning seller making fool customers.

Anyway cancel that fridge and go for one which has handle. We had this one because of no handle evryone opens from side. Sooner and later the color fades because of repetitive touch
