I bought one vapourizer  yesterday and when I pluged into switch board fire came from the switch board because of its  low and cheap quality product sold in the market by god’s grace nothing happened because automatically mains were tripped

So better instead of buying those vapourisers please use hot water in a bowl with zindatilsmath and cover with towel

but very difficult to prove or document.
it takes few months between various levels (of courts) and companies higher lawyers who know how to push cases sround.
even judges are sold.

what is zindatilsmath? amrut dhara aka kulzam aka camphor plus mint plus one more thing?

but please do not say or think that local or cheaper item = dangerous.
it clearly might be manufacturing defect or issues with your own socket or the way it was pushed in.

do you uave any ELCB/MCB for various roomwise circuits?
did any of them trip?
a request to you: please have your electrixal sudit done. what if some ground wires are leaky or otherwise loose connections.

risk to life and large appliances both.

also ask proper masonary contractors or electrical people to check if moisture (water) is soaking the walls or the electrical duct/ piping 8n the plaster.

consumer affairs website of ministry or by email you can register initial complaint and thereafter they guide by replying.
or approach your town/district office of the consumer court. they are helpful people 90% of time.

Just curious, did you pour water into it from the top without removing the lid?

We use vaporiser at home regularly as few of our family members have sinusitis issue. The only time we found it to have had a serious issue was when we poured water from top without removing the lid.

@sricharangunda
Are sure that is due to vaporizer ?
Because, it is similar to water heater/geyser. You need to use minimum more than 5amps socket.

It’s sure because of vapourizer bro

It appears to be because of incorrect size of plug which did not fit into the socket tightly. If some small air gap is left between plug metal pieces and the socket metal, it creates sparks and can cause plastic to melt and catch fire.

It is a common occurrence in all cheaper electrical items, where the manufacturers do not bother to size the moulded plugs as per standard dimensions.

The remaining part of the vaporiser is designed in such a way that it can never catch fireeven if water is poured over it. You should always make sure that plug fits tightly into the sockets. Since the current rating of vaporisers is very low, it can also be safely plugged in 6 amp rating sockets.

you can remove the moulded plug by cutting and buy a small plug and connect the wires to the new plug. It will run normally

It is likely the cheap plastic build of the plug, quite common with most plugs of that kind. Being a heating element on the other end, more chances for occurrence. As a matter of fact, you need to be careful with branded ones’ as well, they use similar plug/wire..

There is no temperature regulation and it goes super hot for kids.
Instead do a 1time purchase of a nebulizer especially if anyone in family has asthma.

Just need bottles of meds like asthalin, butocot, and duolin and you get sorted.

Instead of vapours of paraffin and menthol.Take the meds directly in lung. That’s what the doctors give when it goes severe.

Family doctors help in telling how to use it.
