This was announced in July. I think its only for China with Hydrogen OS, not India specific Oxygen OS. Already OnePlus 8 devices in china moved to the new color OS integration.

the company has cleared the air and stated that it will continue to launch devices in India and other markets with Oxygen OS. This means that users will continue to get the same Oxygen OS experience with Android 12.

I dont think so. Where did you read this? They dont need to buy, its already under their parent company BBK.

BBK Electronics Corporation holds all these Oppo/Vivo/OnePlus/Realme/iQOO brands.

Sir, Are you using the OnePlus Device?

I am using it and I know, how it is cry !

Pura Realme Launcher Lag Raha hai, Open Camera App and see it is so similar 100% similar to Realme (Sister using it) device.

Setting and Notification Panel are bit of 70-80% COLOR OS and also App Drawer is like them!

ONE PLUS IS GONE pensive

Settings & Quick Settings / Notification panel.. they feel similar to RealMe UI (which is closer to OneUI 3.0/4.0)
but its the same OnePlus Launcher since its inception (kept getting better).. May be RealMe copied it

Best part is.. even sub-brands like RealMe started offering close to stock experience (layout*). Only MIUI needs a revamp now

UI changes are okay.
Problem is when they tinker with standard features like notification swipe behavior, notification preview etc
And add those bloatware like task killer, clean master etc

Is oneplus doing these in their new phones?

Not that i’m aware of
Recently tried OOS 11 Beta (Android 11) on OnePlus 6T and there’s no bloatware and i liked the UI changes (OOS 10 >> 11)
// the settings panel does look a bit similar to ColorOS/RealMe UI //

I think.. Nord 2 is the only device, they used RealMe/ColorOS feature set and added OxygenOS UI on top it

Yes bro, the only premium feature I think about oneplus is their stock android. If thats not going to be there then no point in spending few extra thousands for that brand.

Even budget phones like Realme jownhas 65w charging and Amoled displays which is atleast 10k lesser than onplus.

Yes, and they will always treat indian customers specially. Hope the change is going to be good.

Completely agreed. We cant expect E4/E5 LTPS/LTPO displays from them.

One major problem I see with realme is the gorilla glass/dragon glass protection not available.

Even with their top end GT series has just tempered glass, which is really bad. They simply avoid mentioning about glass protections during promotions and nothing in official specs also.

But they are already changed launcher, camera, other things like oppo
Theme store also added

Also added shelf in notification swipe down
And no signs of new material UI

Soon they may add security app, task killer app etc
