I have an Amazon Pay ICICI credit card. I closed the amazon account (say, account A) from which I applied for the credit card. The phone number that was used in that now-closed account is now used in a different amazon account (say, account B).
The cashback that I earn with the credit card is not posting to account B. ICICI says it has transferred all the cashback earnings to my amazon account, but I don't see it in account B. I don't have a way to go back to account A, since it is closed. Account A does not have an email address attached to it.
I do not want to create a new amazon account (say, account C) with the same phone number, as it will delete account B and I will lose all the transactions I made in this account.
Can I ask ICICI to start crediting my earnings to account B? If so, how can they validate that I had previously owned account A?
What are my options to receive the earnings?
