I have an Amazon Pay ICICI credit card. I closed the amazon account (say, account A) from which I applied for the credit card. The phone number that was used in that now-closed account is now used in a different amazon account (say, account B).
The cashback that I earn with the credit card is not posting to account B. ICICI says it has transferred all the cashback earnings to my amazon account, but I don't see it in account B. I don't have a way to go back to account A, since it is closed. Account A does not have an email address attached to it.
I do not want to create a new amazon account (say, account C) with the same phone number, as it will delete account B and I will lose all the transactions I made in this account.
Can I ask ICICI to start crediting my earnings to account B? If so, how can they validate that I had previously owned account A?
What are my options to receive the earnings?
I don't understand why you need to delete account when you are going to use same mobile to create new account.
Anyways, only solution I can think of is to contact amazon help and explain situation to them, they will be able to change by instructing to icici. This should definitely be possible but will take time.

If amazon is able to get ICICI to route the earnings to account B, will I get the earnings that were posted to account A (which no longer exists)?
I think you need to close card and apply again as Amazon does not reactivate account from where card is issued or link ur card to another account.

Try to check Amazon Pay ICICI Credit Card support and confirm your registered mobile number with them.
Similarly cross check with Amazon support about your account and linked number.
Also check after changing account, where do you get the monthly credit card statement update and alter.
