Amazon delays Prime Day until October due to coronavirus

Amazon gave third-party sellers a placeholder date of the week of Oct. 5 for Prime Day, according to an email obtained by CNBC.
The company has delayed its annual shopping event several times in recent months due to coronavirus-related constraints.
Amazon has been working to return its logistics operations to normal after it was hit with a wave of online orders at the height of the pandemic, which resulted in delivery delays and inventory shortages.

No coronavirus for Flipkart… It is playing back to back sale game. And amazon trying to get bandwidth by pricing error game.

HI Guys,

Does anyone here know if we will have Amazon Prime Day sale in India on 16th July this year? Or is it going to get postponed due to the current pandemic situation?

Cheers,
StillWaters

I guess they will compete with Flipkart’s BBD sale this year then.

Amazon might postpone it further. Nothing is certain at this point.

Most of the current sales are not going great, possibly therefore they are postponing it. It’s a lot of investment primarily through advertising, they don’t want to take risk…

True. It’s better to postpone than to have a disappointing sale. It’s the one  reason I had paid for Amazon prime last year. So a  large number of  Dissatisfied Prime customer is Very bad for Thier  long term business strategy.
