Amazon/Flipkart exchanging the phone with swelled up battery.

Hi,
I have a phone which had swelled up battery causing screen to get pushed from 2 sides.

I am thinking to exchange it, can someone share their experiences with similar case?
Screen is working.
Battery backup is good.
But there is a risk of explosion.

Misleading title. In most cases, they are going to deny for the reason which you already know/mentioned.
If possible approach any local service point, request for a old battery in its original shape paying him 100-200. And then, go for exchange
