So currently, for Amazon all of the following accrue 5% cashpoints? Please confirm...

  1. aPay balance load (through 3rd party like uber)
  2. aPay gift card (direct from amazon site)
  3. aPay bill payments (any type of bill)
  4. Regular amazon shopping (any item)

Max total spends for 5% = 20,000/month and max 5% cashpoints = 1000/month (total for 5% partners)

For smartbuy, there is separate quota of 1000/month credited directly to statement and max amazon gv=10,000. Also 1% as cashpoints (this has a separate quota of 1000/month), so effective discount = approx 6%

Calculation:

Price of GV=100+Fees=101.47 (face value=100)

Cashback=5.07(smartbuy)+1.01(1%)=6.08

Net CB%=(6.08/101.47) * 100 = 5.9 %

I had tried paying a small electricity bill last month using millennia cc from amazon as a test. Just want to confirm that received no points for that. Felt strange as was expecting at least 1% cashpoints.

Utility paid on 9th April, statement generated on 18th april.

Just wondering if the other loophole No 2. is still working or not?

Or will the points credit happen in next bill or latter? Haven't used millennia CC for a long time,

Honestly saying, haven't yet paid a single bill from apay directly using millennia ever... also I notice merchant name is "AMAZONUTILITIES" these days for such cases on OTP page...

Also, your RP for this txn will be calculated on 2nd May I think, so next statement... Check the billing period previous and earned RP table...

@Seinfeld

Will check and update if I get post 2nd May in my NetBanking unbilled Rewards or if it comes in my next statement which will be on 18th May, as already I said I don’t use this card at all, so won’t be tough to know 👍

Also is the #2 AGV buying direct from amazon still working? Might be useful as Smartbuy charges processing fees

@Seinfeld Yes, still working provided they didn't block CC payment on GV for the account already...

BTW, did MK set daily/monthly limit cap on using HDFC platinum DC payments for you?

Haven’t used MK cc payments much, only used it for hdfc cards payments, which has been just 10k last month using plat DC.
