When it comes to Amazon ICICI card on what basis is the cashback decided whether its 5% (Prime) or 3%(Non prime)

The card is applied from a Non Prime account , and the cashback gets credited in this account

But I am using the card on another account on Amazon which is a Prime account , so does the cashback depend on the account the card belongs or the account the card is getting used

Thanks for enlightenment.
  1. Your Card account will no longer earn 5% Back and will earn 3% Back instead, if the Amazon.in account from which you applied for your Card account or the Amazon.in account you confirmed and selected to earn 5% Back: (i) no longer has an eligible Prime membership; (ii) no longer has your Card account loaded in that Amazon.in account; (iii) is closed; (iv) is used to select a different Card account to earn 5% Back at Amazon.in; or Whether a purchase earns 3% Back or 5% Back is determined at the time your eligible Amazon.in purchase is made.

One follow up question: If my account is prime, and i shop on another account which is also prime through ICICI APAY CC. Will I get 3% or 5%?

I talked to customer support. They said referring to (iv) that you'll get only 3percent if you shop on another account irrespective of prime status. 🤯
Correct me if part (iv) doesn't meant that?

In short, Open Amazon Pay>Manage Amazon Pay ICICI CARD (Option visible on top, below the total cashback earned)>Recent Transactions . Maybe only Way to see rewards points.

That point( iv) is linked to term( ii). As there is a option you can call the customer care and change/ shift/ link the Card file account to other Prime account. See t&C about shifting/ Linking Cc to other AZ account
