I recently discovered that I didn’t get 5% cashback on shopping on NON-linked Amazon prime account.
I think I got 2% on purchases.
Can anyone confirm this?

So you mean irrespective of whichever prime account I shop. My original linked prime account has to be PRIME.

@manishperiwal.slg214 What you observed is 100% correct.
You will only get 5% cashback only on the account through which you applied for the credit card. If you move to another account by moving your registered mobile number to a new account and also update the registered email address on the credit card to the one with which new account was created, you will still get 3% cashback even if the new account is PRIME. You will only get 5% cashback if the old account is Prime.
I learned about this major drawback yesterday and I am going to close my Amazon ICICI credit card so that I can apply for it again when I get the promotion on my new account (most probably after 180 days). I verified all this by checking the reward points credited for the transaction(s).

Why don’t you make the linked account prime. I am going to do the same.
How do I get customer id for net banking? Why icici bank is so stupid.. They haven’t provided me with customer ID n they want me to use their app
i faced the same issue, and discussed with customer care, they send the policy changed, now going forward 5% cashback will be on the account used.
This is the first month on using card in different account.So have to wait for billing cycle.
