Did anyone use the both credit cards before? Out of these two, which is the best credit card?

1) For Recharges, Bill Payments etc where API (Amazon Pay Icici) gives 2% and SSC (SBI Simply Click) which gives 2.5% (10x rewards)
I recommend using SSC

2) For general shopping : API is best at 5%

3) For 10% bank discount if available for SBI, SSC is best. 10% discount + 2.5%Rewards

How to calculate that spend target is achieved or not?
Is the fees reversed or next year no fees will be deducted?

As soon as you breach their annual spends target your annual fees will be waived off per their tnc.

But for a particular year, fees is deducted at the start of year itself. Then probably for the next year it will get waived off

You will get 1% reward points for wallet load in Amazon pay icici card but not in simply click card. Zero processing fee on Amazon pay Icici card on EMI conversation at merchant while SBI Simply click charges 99+ tax on order above 10k.

Yes, you are right.
They will deduct their Annual fees in our 1st billing cycle itself.

If they charge annual fee due to spend is less, and if we want to cancel the card (without making any transaction after charging annual fee),will they deduct the annual fee, since they made the same for future year but not cuurent year.

In other words,if we cancel the card after charging annual fee for second year without making any transaction will they waive off the fee or not?

I tried, they didn’t reverse the charges in my case. Once charges are billed, you have to pay. But for some dimers, they reversed through customer care.

It depends on the card.

For ola sbi card, No joining and No annual fees at the starting.
After one year, they will charge Annual fees. If the previous year total spends meet the target, then the annual fee will be reversed within a week.

Yes, you have to pay annual fee including GST. If you meet the annual spends target, then the fees including GST will be reversed.

I think he was writing “GST” charges, but autocorrected to “get” charges.

I had verified on Insurance payment. As the amount was high enough for rewards to be noticeable. Didn’t verify on anything else. But it should be same for others too.

I am not sure about wallet load in Amazon pay through SBI simply click.

Can’t say tried all personally(have tried 3,4,5 though) but from whatever I know so far, simplyclick gives 10x on any transaction on amazon except direct wallet loading of amazonpay & maybe 5x on amazon gift cards on amazon(maybe because latest T&C say not eligible for 10x but in reality ppl still getting 10x, see my thread https://www.desidime.com/discussions/no-more-10... ).

" Used to pay " – what you are doing now bro, as GV buy no 10x on Simply Click now a days. And could you please elaborate on " 1/2 points comes now, half later " part of your answer. Thanks!

Now depending on bill amounts using payzapp or amazon GV purchased in various sales but it is only temporary solution as planning on arranging axis ace card later which gives 5%. Half points means out of 10x points on bill payments on amazon, 5x points will come within 3-4 days as usual while remaining 5x points will come after 1-2 months.

Infinia takes care of all my spends & i am effectively able to use it on air travel & hotel redemption so closed other LTF ones (SBI – Airlines and movie tickets also seem doomed for now, Indus – due to its TnC, ICICI – variant no longer available). There was no use in keeping high credit lines open. I was handed another LTF ICICI Sapphiro in Jan this year which i am keeping for Intl. lounge access for my travel companions only

Wish I could just get an Amex somehow
