i purchased car tyre from amazon,tyre was not returnable but i got wrong size tyre,so i chat with amazon cc and told that i received wrong size tyre and i want exchange they accepted my exchange request but today new tyre delivered but delivery boy not asked for return tyre when i asked about he don’t know about return,now tyre is worth Rs.4500,what should i do now?

By ordering tyres and complaint CC for wrong tyre so that they can get more and more tyres..

Tyres are not returnable, they clearly mentioned on product page. You can contact Amazon cc for clarification. You can sell that Tyre.

It’s seller mistake, as per Amazon policy they won’t create return pickup for non returnable items.

If, by ‘ask amazon to take back’ you meant requesting the customer care to create a RMA ID
then i do not think it would help much.
because even for return eligible items, (some of) those idiots do not know how to create a RMA once refund (or replacement) is made.

and as per you, your item was “non returnable” to begin with.
and
has had a refund (or replacement) executed.

now your account is already ‘marked’ with a ₹4500 worth cry returnless refund cry
which, i do not think, would get reversed even if somehow a RMA is created. you could still give it a try though if you want to explore that option.
maybe the Executive Customer Relations (ECR) team could somehow ensure the reverse pick up (easier if product was FBA). Was it Fulfilled by Amazon?

Executive Customer Relations team are those who reply to [email protected], [email protected] or to the [email protected] addresses.
ECR are the highest point of contact within the buyer support department that any AmazonIN buyer can officially reach out to.

Besides the ₹4500 worth returnless refund, even a replacement has been marked on your account now.



If you frequently use Amazon from that account and have clean orders beyond a certain ratio (valuewise, number wise) then do not fret so much.

You can safely continue using Amazon account but always have everything properly documented at your end too. Have proofs of sharing with them, the details (imahes?) of wrong item received.
Do not delete any such e-mails you sent or calls you made.

Thereafter (and incase the return RMA does not get created) you can dispose of the wrong item the way you like.

not a good idea to do ANYTHING outside of the Amazon system, but finally the call is yours.
You did not even bother to reply to the previous guy, whether it was a seller item or Amazon fulfilled.
Mostly seller already got paid by Amazon for the previous order too
and now🤦🏻‍♂😖 you are returning the previous order.

Unless Amazon approves it, your orderbook and account would continue to be flagged for 4500Rs returnless refund.
So, all in all: your loss!

No. He would receive funds from Amazon for one order only. The replacement tyre was sent by the seller to rectify the mistake. So, if he called the seller directly, the seller might get a reverse pick up arranged for the same.

If it were fulfilled by Amazon or had ‘Easy Ship’ (delivered by Amazon/ customer support by Amazon): then yes!

Seller not only gets the money, but buyer is being a bit of a simpleton in doing what he is doing.

Unless everything is documented via buyer seller messages, such private talk between them would never get acknowledged by Amazon.

From what I could infer, the ops intention is to return the wrong one and be genuine. And on the other side, dimers think of making this a loot. And eventually similar set of folks complain on India not producing quality stuff or not progressing. Irony!

The thing is that for the product which are non returnable and when these products gets some defects then Amazon sends the new one without picking up the other one. So you can keep both the products. No issue.

I don’t think seller will be at loss if it is Amazon fulfilled. He will be paid by Amazon for both tyres.
