if amazon is restricting then people must have been abusing electricity bill payment system.

In rural areas, guys set up kiosks where they are charging 20₹ extra to pay bill in the village itself. People don’t even mind as it saves them travel and time.

Well…4 per month is good enough for most people. When people create jobs out of online bill payments then service providers will have to put brakes somewhere.

The best thing to do – Keep everything open and then ban users without second thoughts on misuse.

That is ideal case but difficult in practice as every misuser will keep arguing tweeting etc so much energy/money wasted in customer care

For Electricity Bill Payments, Rs. 10,000 is less.

Also, no point in paying via UPI as there is no cashback. Better pay it via payzapp etc. Atleast Amazon Pay card will give 1% cashback + Payzapp offer.
