Amazon Order Cancelled

I had purchased a USB hub on 18th with the AMZPC500 coupon. The product was shipped on 19th. And today I received a mail from Amazon that the product has been cancelled and being returned. When I contacted customer care, they said that the cancellation is done from the customer side only. How can this happen? I do not share my account credentials with anyone. Have any dimer faced the same issue? I have been using Amazon since its inception in India. But never faced such issue, except for some cancellation that happened due to price error.

I ordered mechanical keyboard on Holi and was suppose to be delivered today but not yet dispatched. I contacted cc via call and they confirmed that if I don’t get my order by today. I can cancel and place new order for same device and same seller (it was Appario retail for me) and they will process cashback manually after return window is over.

Don’t do that!
Call support person tried to trick you (and get good rating?). Next time you contact, ask for email confirmation regarding the same (The next person you talk to got no knowledge about your previous conversation and the cashback assurance)
Even if they manage to add cashback to your account manually, then it will be Compensation GV not cashback (Too much of this compensation GV is not good for account health)

I have email confirmation 🙂 executive took around 5-10 mins writting that email with all details. And this is first time (if they process cb as mentioned) so no issue I guess
