Amazon Pantry items are now delivered opened (without any box / packaging)?

Today the delivery guy brought the items completely open in a plastic tray. Felt like he purchased the items from my nearby shop and delivered it to me. Is this how Pantry items are delivered now?

Yes, they are delivering openly thru plastic boxes but items wrapped in covers since past over one year and since 2-3 months they are just delivering openly without any covers, just dropping items at door-step…
So they are following like bigbasket ? Big basket used to deliver like this
Government has issued some orders on these online platforms not to use much plastic for packaging, as they are using much plastics for packages, so these companies are trying to reduce it in possible ways, somewhere I heard this news was months back. Yesterday also i received my paragon slippers from Amazon only in Paragon box itself with some tape on it.
That too, very good quality Brown Paper Bags. Multiple bags for each order depends upon ordered items, irrespective of item quantity and order value.
If your delivery is with in city limits then they deliver it loose if it is outside then in a box. I am ok as long as the product does not tamper in transit!!
