[solved] Amazon pay balance cannot be combined with its UPI

I plan my bill payments to pay the minimum required amount via UPI, and the rest of the balance via Amazon Pay balance. Today, I see it is not letting me mix both.

Amazon usually shows the balance to be paid after adjusting the existing apay balance and pay the rest via cards/UPI. It works the same for cards, but for UPI, it’s not anymore. Not sure if they are preventing this intentionally.

Any one observed this?

Update: After verifying the UPI account/SIM, the issue is resolved. Thank you @Ash-D

Go to amazon pay and then Upi then check you account balance and then try again.
This happens when you login again in app or upi mobile no. isn’t verified.

I have not tried that. For using this offer for airtel i do partial payment from airtel app via amazon pay balance and pay remaining using amazon app and amazon upi.

But first try only 10rs to see if updated amount is fetched in amazon app or not.

We still don’t know if its airtel bill.
That airtel in screenshot is his upi bank account ie airtel payments bank.
But I am pretty sure the issue is what I have mentioned above.

Hopefully that’s the issue. I changed my sim card and I’m yet to reverify all the UPI accounts. +Kged

I am 99% sure its the issue. Should sort out as soon as you reverify.

Yes, its SIM verification issue, happens sometimes due to various reasons. So, before paying with Amazon UPI, it is always better to check Amazon UPI balance once to make sure Amazon UPI is working fine, than we can go ahead to pay with Amazon UPI along with Amazon Pay Balance, irrespective of any bank account added to Amazon UPI.
