Hi, I had applied for amazon pay credit card it has been declined without any reason , i am already using an axis bank, and sbi bank card i am self employed and my residence and office address is same. i was advised by the person who came for the document collection to give a different office address but as i didn’t want to give false information , i told him to write the right info. so do you think the reason of declining the card is due to same office and home address ?

Mine is delivered evenif i have provided same office and resident address. Though i mentioned i m salaried while applying card in Amazon app
they ask for a salary slip incase you are salaried

Yes I gave him all the documents he asked for plus i gave him itr and computation
you dont need to give false info. just do one thing
charge your address a little bit. like residence is ground floor and office is back side or floor 1
i did the same and got my first axis cc 7yrs back

Office address is not just the issue your GTI also matters, what is your Gross Total Income?
around 480000 is it not eligible ?

mere ko to official emeal ke chakkar me decline kar diya and now i just use yono(5%)+simplyclick(2.5%)=7.5% on amazon

Don’t worry, now that amzonpay card has stopped giving 5% on GVs this card won’t remain as popular & just like earlier will be given easily.
For me,they asked for Salary Slip when came for KYC.Televerification and In-person verification completed and then they approved. Whole process took 12 days.
Between , i don’t have any cibil score and this is my first credit card
Cibil score is not required if you are an employee of a big/known company present in icici database. One member here got this card as their first card without cibil & with 2 lakh annual salary while those having 800 cibil & 5-6 lakh annual income were rejected because of not working in a big/known company.

It’s not about just 10k bro..I don’t ve any credit history.. CIBIL is nil .no loan nothing.. Thatsy opted for it.. @guest_999
You have a govt job with salary which is more than enough to get a normal credit card. You could have got sbi simplyclick card easily(sbi being the largest psu bank sbi card give extra points for being a govt employee). This card in my opinion is better than amazonpay card for most situations if used with sbi yono amazon offer(needs sbi savings acc) especially now that amazonpay card has stopped giving 5% on GVs.
Had a chat with my SBI branch cc agent..c told to wait for few more months n keep good balance in my account..since d account is converted to salary account in September only.. So m waiting..
right now m focusing on SBI simply click..hope I get that atleast.. used to spend around 5k p.m in Amazon.. So it could b useful if I get it..
Its depends your income and what you’re showing in ITR credit card also considered as a borrowing only if your previous card has higher limit then also it can be declined i don’t think cibil will matter below 700 also you can credit card only matters is you can pay or not and also sometimes AI also gonna decline your application
Also in meanwhile take some loan like paylater from amazon it will ceate your cibil faster

This is a hoax, Amazon is not having any such card. This is just a marketing strategy to collect users data and show its financers that it can grow into this stream also and if Amazon is able to collect good data then investors will be more than happy to invest more and more into it and this can take Amazon to new heights without actually doing anything. Creepy mind fools good minds to make great money.

How to activate this card for payments? I got the card, but the payment is declining everytime I try to place an order using it (I dont have an ICICI account).
