Amazon pay icici card Reward points error.

After looking at today’s statement of mine i saw that my total rewards for the month were 399 but only 249 were credited.
I didn’t buy any gv and used the card only on amazon orders and merchants and even iMobile shows 2% rewards for bill payments yet instead of the 2% i got 0.8% in my statement.
Is that a glitch or is it happening with everybody and how do i get back to them as the emails are of no help.

Yes i re-calculated the rewards on bill payments and if we rectify the 2% rewards ( assuming them to be 5%) then the calculation comes correct.
But the question is why they are doing it.
Recently I have faced same. Though I purchased gv from amazon and imobile app was showing 5 points per 100 spent but only 2 points per 100 was credited. They deducted the points.
Calculate shopping orders at 5 points if you are prime or at 3 points if not prime and all other bill pay transactions at 2 points per 100.
Also consider that for example if your transaction amount is 101 or more till 199 you will get reward points of 100 spent value only. Earlier they used to give reward points of 200 spent value if the transaction is greater than 150. This is not valid for amazon transactions, where for example you will get 7 points for 150 transaction if prime and 4 points if non prime

i too received less points,was suppose to get 5%,but got 4% reward point cb
They have plugged the 5% loophole for GV and bill payments. Now these are 2% only.
The bank also has the option to rectify errors for 60 days. So excess benefit given in previous two months can be “clawed back”

They call it something like chargeback I guess but not sure. Possible?
May be earlier extra reward deducted
