Amazon Pay on delivery option not showing

The Pay on delivery option in my Amazon account is grey and i am not able to use that option fir COD orders. Is there any way to enable the same?

I have already checked the location address with other account with Prime. There was an option of POD. My account doesnot jave that option.

you cancelled/rejected so many cod orders recently?

if yes, then place(afaik 3 orders) orders using prepaid method

or like undernation said, some items are not eligible

account health would improve based on various matrices.
can only continue to create issueless fresh orders and in time it should change.
I mean, this is in addition to what others already mentioned (like; cateogory specific, ASIN specific, seller or warehouse and delivery address pincode related issues).

For example, in my own case, just the other day, ordered this https://www.amazon.in/dp/B08DYWNBD9 but due to some change of mind or sizing concerns cancelled the order shortly after. (used the honest reason while cancelling).
Did reorder it again after the item got restocked (it was the last unit it seems, in that size) but this time the system/ Cloudtail simply did not allow POD and in this case/ account …. Cloudtail (marketplace non pantry) orders just not giving POD option.
In-fact, depending on category or reordering same item in multiple orders (same account) even disables the Amazon Pay balance or specifically the Gifts and Credits😔 option in that account! (not using Amazon Money/ Stored Value Account part of Amazon Pay in that account, so GC are all that is there).

whereas with some sellers on dummy listings like these
https://www.amazon.in/dp/B07KYQBW2S i could http://amazon.in/dp/123456789X place POD orders, be it with "FBA’ status or seller fulfilled ‘EasyShip’ orders (EasyShip is where it says ‘delivered by Amazon’).


Thus, all you can do is to let things cool off gradually and avoid cancellations, rejections, returns or excessive ordering under the same account.
[although even if different but related accounts are used, these companies do have big data tools to check everything. i do not bother ordering mobiles or such electronics online, so i am unaware. in-fact i can still log in into one (of the total two) account even without having any registered phone number on it.]

Missing
