Today, I had loaded 20k on Amazon Pay via Uber route. It was my first of such attempts. So, when I tried to withdraw via UPI, I was faced with "Monthly Limit Exceeded" error. CC on chat were not that helpful. So, I tried smaller amount of 8k. It went through alright. I tried another payment of 8k, same error was thrown. I went through the tnc of Amazon Pay and found couple of things. I think people deserve to know about it.
- What is my Amazon Pay UPI?: mobile [email protected], say my number is 1234567890, then my UPI ID linked to Amazon Pay is [email protected] Just send 1 rupee to your Amazon Pay UPI ID and yes 1 rupee should be added to your wallet. It is different than the one with apl handle.
- When shall it be available to all customers? By 30th September. No need to apply any tricks.
- What can be withdrawn to bank/sent via UPI? Only the money part. Gift cards can't be taken to bank account.

- Transaction Amount: For orders amounts of Rs.15,000 and above, only Amazon Pay UPI is supported.
- Number of Orders: From your 6th or higher transaction in a calendar month on the respective bill payment category, only Amazon Pay UPI is supported.

- Transaction Amount: For orders amounts of Rs.15,000 and above, only Amazon Pay UPI is supported.
So cannot pay LIC premium of, say 30k through GC/CC/DC ? If someone did LIC payment of >15k recently please share experience. Also @bikidas2060

Still just now I tried to pay credit card bill for 100₹ using @ amazonpay UPI ID on the same phone, and it passed. So, is there a separate limit for these bill payments, other than the 10k + 20k???

You can still spend upto 30k in September month, if you used before 5th or 6th September.

Nope. I tried creating it on android phone but as soon as I switch sim back to iphone the ID isn’t being validated. Guess it’s restricted for android devices only for now

You can set up Amazon Pay balance UPI to make UPI transactions by registering for UPI through the Amazon.in app. Note: Currently this is feature is only functional for Android users.
