Hi, many people are facing the Amazon UPI Payment Error from past few weeks and I am here with the temporary fix.

Round 1….On Chat
Me: Sir I have been facing Amazon UPI error bla bla
Amazon cc: 1. Problem with your bank. 2.Share the error screenshot. 3. No other customers complaining 4. Reinstall App/clear cache 5. Call Mr. Tony Stark

Round 2….On Chat (twisting query a bit)
Me: How long it will take to rectify your AMAZON pay UPI? I have been told on phone u guys are having server issues!
Amazon cc: We are sorry, we are having some technical issues here, as it is linked to the customers bank account with critical and confidential informations it’s taking longer than expected to fix bla bla.

So, finally they accepted that there are some technical issues.

Temporary fix (officially by them)
Close all background Apps. (First Exit Amazon app if opened). Open Amazon(with no other app open in background). done. UPI might work now.
(Tried with all my friends and it worked like charm, hence cared to share)
