I ordered tecno mobile on 20th November at decent price. But due to problem in rabbit app order cancelled by delivery agent.
But after few hours app worked smoothly but my bad order was already cancelled.
So I contacted amazon customer care they refused to give replacement as no option showing as per there system.
But they offered me price difference on there own and I confirmed with there senior also.
They sent me mail also regarding this.
So should I order the device at 17999 and will they offer the price difference of 10000 rs ?
Should I trust them ?
And they will give price difference in wallet only.
So please advice what should I do ?

I believe they have a upper limit to offer price difference. Once they denied my price difference citing their inability as this exceeds limit. Thats the only concern, otherwise it goes smoothly upto 3.5K as per my experience
Will call and ask about it then only decide.

I too got price difference of Rs. 572 from Amazon, before 2 days for non returnable product but not sure whether Amazon will provide 10k price difference. Talking about Tecno phone it's not worth without extra discount and exchange bonus. So take decision accordingly.
Yes that's why asked here.
But after reading suggestions it's not worth the hassle.
Even if 1% they deny the price difference. Then I would be in loss of 10000.
So avoiding this mess.

I think you should contact again and confirm about the price difference of Rs 10000 also you will get the refund in original payment method if you use upi you should get refund in upi.
They confirmed that price difference will go to amazon pay balance.
Will confirm tomorrow again if price difference will go to upi or card then it's good. But 10000 is huge amount and they can deny also. Then I have to chase them daily.
I also got some 1500 for 1 product for the same condition. Make sure you have a written mail/msg about that
They add it as a Amazon Gift Card Balance which can be upto 10000 per gift card and can be divided fi amount is more
My last gift card addition is some 16k (10k +6k) when I have to use for some payment on any third party site.
I think it's better to involve Executive Relations Team as it is the highest point of escalation so there would be no turning back on thier promise. Also consider if you will be able to use the balance or it would be an waste being stuck.
Actually now that I remember, ECR offered me price difference few weeks back and they told that they would credit the difference before ordering the product and I need to send the screenshot before checking out so maybe try ask them and if they agree to provide that would be better but my case was a high value order and it was an ongoing issue with the seller and amazon so maybe it was just a case based offer but worth a try.
Placed a order arriving Tommorow. Will update when I will reach to them.
As proce difference will be given when return window will be over.
And mailed to ECR team but recived no response.
10k in amazon wallet is worse than losing 10k 💀
