I deposited check of 510rs on last Saturday , 8days gone still I didn’t got money in my SBI acnt

Once I got a citi bank cheque which I deposited in my place(Citibank is not present) and bank charged ~60rs. and it took 15 days for clearing

Moreover they will charge separately for each cheque…

Cheques & DD are slightly different.

no u can redream it on any bank. i put it on central bank on my acc and i get money in 13 days in my account

Did you ask if you can get GVs or something similar added to your account for the refund amount? If you did not ask, can you ask now

that is what i feared

I went to hdfc bank today and asked the guy sitting on the may i help you. He appeared to be a newbie and he didnt even look at the cheque and just said : cheque deposit ke koi charges nahi hote.. deposit kar do.

At fisrt i was about to deposit but then i thought i will have to fight them for the wrong wordings by this chap… just not worth it.
it was sad to see even a bank like hdfc hiring suchpeople and not giving any training…

No charges if Speed Clearing is offered by the cheque issuing bank for small value cheques.

Their is an option where you can add your bank details ( acc no. , ifsc etc.), and the money for refund would be transferred to your bank account by neft…Thus it would save you from going to the bank..

Note :-

U will get money directly to the bank acnt added to ur amazon refund acnt only when the seller is ws retailer for other seller u will get a cheque or gv.

If they have issued a cheque then u cabt ask for gv inplace of tht. Also if u hav charged for courier u can also ask for tht money they will gv u giftcard for courier charges.
