I have purchased two wakefit mattress protector from Amazon. Upon receiving it come in plastic bag with just barcode tag with it(on both). Usually it has printed cardboard box. No MRP tag. So I request return the product for same reason. Now my return rejected two time for same reason. They want MRP tag from me for pickup that item and cancel that return. Upon calling cc they said they have mentioned that you have not received price tag so next time return will process smoothly. Today the same happened (rejected return). I have ordered many product via Amazon many does not have MRP tag this time or earlier also, never have such return issue for price tag.

Everything dont come with price tag but if you want to return anything then delivery boy checks for price tag and if its not there then they refuse to return.
Saw same thing happening with myntra also.

It is not possible to have price tag on every item. Like some Chinese toy, blanket of local brand, even non branded clothing.

I returned a luxury blanket today, it did not have any price tag/receipt but was picked up without any extra effort, so may be one off case or account flagged for returning wrong items  or may be issue with local area with the delivery depot being extra vigilant.

Is the automatic system preventing you from creating return or the delivery / pickup agent is creating the nuisance

there is one dimmer who use to order 35 clothes and latter try and return 30 .

I know few who ordered 20 and returns 20 when these sites used to have 30 days return policy

Pickup agent are creating ruckus. Earlier there was no such compulsion. But they kept on saying that they will follow the instructions as shown in app. If app say check for certain pattern then they ask for same irrespective of whether is was there or not. Even if seal is not open. There is barcode sticker still they are asking for mrp tag as it is shown in app of pickup agent. I think Amazon is in fault. Pickup agent saying they are clearly told to follow instruction.

Don’t know what to say and when the policy changed. Last month retuned a pair of cricket gloves ( inner gloves like thing was missing ) and that went smooth.

I hardly return products ever 1 or 2 may be in a whole year.

Contact amazon CC on phone and explain the situation. I think they may process refund and let you keep the product as from your description it’s clear there’s no fault from your side. Let’s see how this goes.

Today they are again coming for pickup. Will let you know how it goes. Amazon cc told it has mentioned MRP tag missing in my return order. So let’s see how it’s go. (Yesterday cc story was same). I think it is 50-50 chance.

Return successfully. Pickup guy directly swipe the MRP tag option, without even uttering n checking.
