guys. just got to know that amazon account got hacked and amazon pay balance is been used to purchase “Chroma – Digital Voucher”. recipient id is some randomly sudo generated id. xojdxuvf@sup…ml
raised a concern with Amazon and as a process they will check it.
later when i checked product page, there are many exactly same complaints on product review page.
anyone have any idea?

Yes. Just a couple hours before I too noticed some unusual activity in my account. Specifically, the view history in my Amazon account is showing a he’ll lot of products which I have never searched in my life in any site. As a precaution I changed my password as my Apay balance was intact.
I’m still facing this issue of unrelated view history no matter how many times I change my password. Raised concern with amazon, they are also clueless
In June month date 14 someone hacked my Amazon pay account prime one and paid 8250 rs on zingoy for gift card purchase…I raised the issue and with in 48 hours they deposited amount with 5% extra Amazon pay balance…but yes beware guys don’t keep much balance in Amazon pay balance it’s my advice.
Use 2FA for Amazon account.

Agree.. same happened with my account . Pay balance was used to purchase google play gift card and sent to some weird email Id

Its a serious concern. I posted about this 2 days back in Amazon 1000CB thread. FOR ME Also croma Gift Card ordered frm my account at 3.30 am.
Today by Amazon Balance was refunded after i Reported to Amazon Fraudster Team. How would have my account been compromised I’m not getting any idea.
Have a strong feeling that someone from amazon is doing this.. I haven’t used my account for 8 months and had some balance lying there and as going to expire in August so I thought of using it but when I logged in it was used up by someone just 10 days back .. and. Nothing else changed
Last week faced the same problem, report the same immediately along with an email, they will cancel the croma order and you will be asked to change the password and you will get back 105% of the amount that got deducted within 4-7 days..
Any idea how are accounts getting compromised?
I also faced similar issue. My account was hacked recently but fortunately there was no pay balance in it and hacker changed the primary email id if Amazon account. Raised issue with Amazon and they did everything to get my account back to normal.

I doubt this fraud is from DD msg. As this happens with friend but he is not on DD. Also he has not updated application from any links. Still croma gv transaction done from his account
There are lot of phishing sites looks like Amazon , those are sharing on WhatsApp . Some users can’t identify it’s original or not. They’ll submit their login details there.
You guys must have bought OTP from otp sellers and that is why its happening

Same has happened with me earlier this year.
And I went to depth of this issue.
It all started with data breach of ixigo.com
Millions of users ixigo email password got hacked.
And then hackers sell the credentailas at variois placrs in parts.
Now, there is no benefit from ixigo, bt ppl are having same email passwrd at diffrnt platforms like amazon, flipkart..
So, who buys these information use at other platforms.
So, firstly my mobikwik was used of amount Rs. 114 on clubfactory, then they tried accesing my zingoy nd cashkaro, but they coudnt, as these sites blocked them, nd informd me to change password.
Then my amazon account was used for Rs. 300 on bewakoof.com.
But the good thing is amazon quickly responded,
nd took care of issue, and issued refund and also told me they’r getting many similar complaints.
But, this mobiwik or mobidick, they just disabled my account.. nd aftr complaining regularly, aftr 3-4 months, they enabld my account nd on talk with cc, they clearly said we do this only, disable account forever of such users. But they saw my long histry of usage, they enabld, I askd about refund, they said aftr they enable account case is closed, i will not get refund. I argued, thry said they’ll open case again and they disabld my account again, aftr that no reply. I havnt seen such pathetic service ever. F**ck u mobikwick.
Moreover, I would like to add, I got hold of they guy u used my amazon account, and the guy who sold my account to him on telegram.
But thing, is nothing can be done. Cyber security is a myth in India.
If any1 having knowledge about where I can complaint, plz inform me..
Firstly, I really want to sue mobidick for this behaviour with customer and also that person who sold my account, he’s also having lakhs of users amazon credentials.

Its always better to buy a domain and use different email on every site
