Amazon sellers cheating customers

Hi Friends,
I wanted to buy a mat today from amazon and checked the price as I liked it. When searching on google the real MRP is around 50% lesser than amazon selling price. I wonder customers are cheated this way or I am wrong here? I spoke to customer care and they say its from seller side even 10rs product they can sell at 1000rs. there is no policy around that.

Its not shipping. The quoted price itself is double of official MRP.
Bro @carez; the seller has to pay seller fee to Amazon and also shipping charges after all these he/she gains only some profit
And also if we order and return something seller has to bear the shipping charges also it costs around 50-70 after all these sellers get very less profit
Hence buy the products on which u get more discount compared to offline
But don’t tell sellers are fake because it’s there business to earn

I spoke to one of my friends and agree with your views. A seller has to pay lot of money from his side.
MRP is a difficult concept.
Bhai profit n loss me discount aur dishonest chapter nai pareh h kya
Amazon charges hefty fees, add shipping etc.
Offline is always better priced.
