I brought 11t pro from Amazon but it arrived with zero battery. Put it on charge it took 5 min to get zero battery blinking display. After a full charge this phone works 6 hours with screen on.
100 to 75 when i was sleeping. And another six hours just browsing.
I dont feel keeping this one. Same happened to anyone like phone arrived with dead battery ?

It's a phone problem not Amazon problem. While apple is improving battery in newer version, Android is going backwards with new gen processors. I feel too much emphasis is put on specs and speed when room improvement is very less while putting battery on back burner.
Install Battery Battery Stats to catch hold of rogue apps etc. If it's due to the hardware/kernel BBS won't be as useful. MIUI is erratic in this regard. Sometimes in my father's Redmi Note 10 Pro idle drain in 4G with Sync on will be as low as 0.3-0.4%/h which is quite outstanding but at other times the device just won't enter Deep Sleep at all (until rebooted) and idle drain will be as high as 2%/h.
Mostly Xiaomi's SD888 and SD8 G1 devices deliver noticeably poor battery backup than their competitors.
No problem with your battery you got 6 hrs of browsing with 1 charge that is healthy for a phone with sd 888 processor.I have s22 ultra with sd 8 gen 1 I only getting 5h sot with lte connection active
No problem in battery. Just the processor itself is power hungry/poor battery optimization.
I too recieved dead battery. Took fcking 10 minutes just for that 0 percentage battery icon to show🥲
It was draining about 5 to 10 percent in idle condition ( from night sex sleep 😴😴 to morning wood🌅😵💫) on miui 12.5 enhanced
Updated to 13.2 and that premature ejaculation in night has stopped significantly. But charging speed reduced on 120w.( But still charges to 100 from 0 in power off mode in 18 minutes)

Its not worth if it gives 6 hours runtime of 60 hz refresh rate. I still feel its abnormal backup with my particular device.
Its the screen eating 50% of battery. No software issue. Ill try replacement with amazon.

It depends upon the user. I could get a little over 2 days of usage in my Poco F1 (4Ah battery) even with the battery depleted to 65% of it's original capacity. 9-10 hours SoT (35-45% brightness). Majorly indoors and predominantly web browsing which thanks to Vi's outstanding indoor 4G coverage wasn't very taxing on the battery. A12 is significantly more demanding on the battery which prompted me to replace battery as soon as Xiaomi had reduced their prices to sane levels. AOSP-based custom ROMs of course. In MIUI SoT is reportedly rarely over 5-6 hours.

https://m.gsmarena.com/xiaomi_11t_pro-review-23... More than 12 and 14 hours in web browsing and video playback tests respectively. Testing was conducted at 200 nits brightness which is around 40% of the peak panel brightness with HBM disabled. Not sure how it matches up to the brightness slider though. If you keep the brightness very high then of course battery life will suffer.

Duplicate battery? It was purchased from Flipkart brand new early this year. SoT is very good, 14+ hours on average in the dumb 120Hz mode. It's only the idle drain that is inconsistent veering between outstanding or mediocre. The latter only occurs when the device doesn't enter Deep Sleep as I had mentioned earlier. Rebooting fixes it immediately. It's just the shitty MIUI. Never updated it since purchase.
P.S. After dozens of battery cycles Accubattery continues to estimate the battery capacity at 101% of the rated capacity.

Yes with the caveat that it's probable that even with a brand new battery the OP6T would struggle to replicate the battery life tests from 2018 in today's workloads especially in A12 . While other OEMs also suffered due to SD888 and it's successor it was rather exaggerated in case of Xiaomi in particular. However the just 6 hours SoT is rather too low in light of the tests conducted by GSM Arena. One cannot never rule out subsequent MIUI updates ruining battery life as that has been a recurrent theme for quite a few years now. As recent events show even their flagship grade devices are no longer immune to the perils of poor updates.

For new battery calibration let the battery drain to zero & charge the battery till 100% in phone off. Don't turn the phone unless battery reach 100%.

I think you are have confused it with something else. The device (Redmi Note 10 Pro) is barely 6 months old and it obviously has the original battery.

Yup. Not a single update since purchase. I would have straightway switched to custom ROMs if A12 ones weren't facing a mic issue(although a fix in the form of a Magisk module was later available ) . Since it was my father's device and we are states apart I decided not to. Plus with the mobo/cam issues reported I thought it better not to unlock the bootloader until the warranty is valid. That way if anything goes wrong service center folks can't give any inane excuse.
