American Express Membership Rewards card vs Gold charge card?

Keep the gold charge card, it gives monthly bonus of 1000 points for spending 6 times for 1000 or more (best is to do paytm recharge)….. Otherwise To earn 1000 points u need to spend 50000rs……moreover if u spend annually a 1.5 lakh as per amex ur fee is waived off…….. U can negotiate,they waived off mine fee for spending 1.27lakh only.

Its the best card in terms of reward points, only shortcoming is less acceptance at POS terminals….. use it for online spend

Membership card is good. And I think there is spend limit which if u achieve annual renewal fee waived off

Yes, for membership rewards card also you can ask for a waiver. If you spend 1.5 lac in a year there will no annual fee. Also, in membership rewards card you will get monthly 1000 rewards points for 4×1000 spends instead of 6 in gold card.

I cannot comment on Gold Charge Card, as I dont have it.
I can say few thing about rewards card.
1, Use 4 times (1000 and above) in a month(1st to 31st) and get 1000 Points
2, Spend 150000 (in Card Year, not financial year) and annual charges will be waived off
3, Spend 90000 to 14999 and annual changes will be waived off to 50%
or else 4500+GST

First year charges 1000+GST (Please confirm on this, as you are changing card)

you can compare and take decision.
Few people said, we can even negotiate on this annual charges while renewal (I do not have personal experience on this).
