Amex - 1500 trick not working via Uber , Zomato

I did it twice yesterday through Uber. Worked for me.. No charges

Looks like Paytm has fixed it . Fee getting charged via uber Zamoto

it worked for me on Saturday... It shows the fees now. 
Damn! End of an era. I have been using the card since 2018. Now almost all 'useful' wallets don't allow wallet load with the card.

Yeah, now it is showing convenience fee of 40. Luckily got it done timely this time. Will require some new tricks for next month

So isn't it better to buy amazon pay gift card from gyftr rewards multiplier to buy amazon pay GC to use for bill payments? You would get 2x base rewards too.

currently not available via rewards multiplier is oos 

buy amazon gift cards from amex reward multiplier - it gives 1.6% cashback which is not bad

also we get 1k points which is 400 rs for doing 4 transactions

so 8.26% cashback on amazon which is very good

by cashback he meant card RP's benefit, normally you get  1RP for every 50rs but when you buy via reward mulitplier you get 2RP for every 50rs
so 4RP per 100rs which is ~ 1.6rs per 100 which is 1.6%
