Amex card spend milestone to waive off annual fee

My friend want to spend 40k to waive off the annual fee. What is the best way at minimum charges to do it and transfer to bank account? He does not have NPS account.

Buy Amazon GV from Giftyr or voucherworld …. so that he can earn .. both Reward Points & Milestone benefit.
If u load Amazon Wallet you Amex wont give Rewards Point.
And later trade-off the Amazon GV @ 3% discount at desidime or other sites …. Z*****Y.
So technically …. 40K spent …. 800-1200 loss in trading the same or use itself.
by doing that u r saving 5K+GST of the annual fee and also earning the milestone benefits.

I guess we are talking about a Premium Card … like Amex Travel Platinum or similar.
For waiver of entry level card.. this exercise is not worth it.

Last I heard, it was done for accounts doing txns beyond limits of their cards

Why want to get his card blocked, usemycards is a risk both security wise as well as financial wise(card cancellation, income tax notices etc). Only recommend it to those who know exactly what it means to use such sites. 
@ashu99926 Decide for yourself whether it is worth it & do notice some people will suggest you anything as long as they are getting some benefit from it(aka referral bonus).
Pay rent online via red giraffe no broker or something like that at nominal charges maybe 500rs or so. But in turn you’ll get reward points and fee waiver so still huge gain.

Many rent paying sites not accepting amex card. Does red giraffeaccepts amex? I heard they ask for agreement doc?
They wanted me to spend INR 2 lacs in 60 days to waive off the entire renewal fees which was not possible for me. We have DCB & Infinia in the family and hence got the card cancelled
The rewards are not worth if the fees has to be paid
Yes, my friend was asked to spend 60k in 90 days, finally he loaded paytm wallets and bought some amazon vouchers.
Open payment gateway RazorPay on friend name. Send invoice and pay for him. Money will be in his account within 3 days. 3%(for Amex) for non Amex 2% will be deducted.
If you will spend 40000 then deduction will be 1600 Rs.
Instead of paying 5000 + GST you have saved 3400 Rs.
Another method call them and inform that you want to close card as not interested to pay card fees. They will reverse fees. I am doing from last 2 years for my Amex Gold Card.
