With major difference that you will receive the referral benefits.
MRCC Referral benefits are:
1) First Year Fee Rs. 1,000 WAIVED
2) Second Year onwards Fee : 1,500 + tax (waived for 1.5L spends).
3) 2,000 Bonus Points, on spending 25k within 90 days
You should fulfil the following:
1. A friend/relative in Amex issuing cities.
2. Official email ID is a must.
3. Income > 6-lacs for those above 33yrs age else 4.5-lacs
4. good CIBIL score (>750) & good credit history.
5. Income docs may be required depending upon AMEX system.
6. PAN, Aadhaar, Photo[, Income docs] required over email.

My friends got the card , when they had a CTC of 3.3 . But now Amex is refusing at 4.0 CTC.

Going to bookmark this thread. You have no idea the pain i have gone through to get AmEx even with Aadhaar of main sourcing location! They just refuse to give it to me coz permanent address is in non sourcing location even when current (or temporary) address is in sourcing location. Been going through the ordeal since past 3 years. AmEx tagline should be “For the chosen few – from the retarded few”
