Just got a Lifetime free SmartEarn Credit Card (Companion) Offer pop-up in my amex login.
Is this card worth? 10X on Flipkart capped to 500 RP, 5X on Amazon capped to 250 RP per month.
currently have MRCC and the amount spent on this SmartEarnCredit card will be counted in the eligiblity for fee wavers?
also the amex reward points get accumulated per card or per person?

If you have mrcc the You can earn by smartearn and spend point via mrcc mr
So it will be 34% for uber and flipkart
And 17% for other 5x
Points get clubbed. But not the spend for waiver. I’ll say its worth it. I have been using it in dmart and Flipkart for below threshold purchases. Even if u discontinue mrcc in future this one will have lower spend based waiver amount. Over-all good card

@DealFinder how old is your Amex mrcc card? Mine 4 month old.. didn’t get any such companion card offer..

I think this offer is only for non LTF MRCC card holders.
amex smartearn is giving 10* for flipkart orders
in t&c mentioned, per rs.50-1 regular point and remaining 9 points are additional, right?
so via rewards multipiler, will they give only 2 points or additional 18 points also ?
via rewards multiplier, they give extra 1 point only i guess.

received a msg that card has been dispatched.. no calls nothing from amex.. 
once i receive the card how can i create a separate login for this card? Or will this card be automatically linked to my current MRCC?

if everything is fulfilled then they don’t call you.
last week one of my friend applied to new amex MRCC, he filled application and submitted all documents online and received the card without any phone call or any other verification.

I also received the offer for LTF companion Smart Earn card but I had deleted that email and it is not showing in the offers section as well. Does it mean the offers stand void for me? CC was unable to help.

2. Login in to your amex account online it will be there in homepage (Popup/Offers section)
3. Still not found, then wait for couple of days you will receive the mail again
my card is 4 month old…i ddnt receive any email/SMS for such offer..however i have filled card info in the link provided by @wackophant ..got email that thank you for applying LTF smartearn card as companion…lets see
just talked to two amex employee..they told i will get the card..lets see
On every Smart earn card related mail Amex says 495 + taxes PA for this card.
I cannot see any LTF offer related to this too in my amex offers section.
I guess it’s not free for me then

For me MRCC is free only for 1st year..
Then i need to pay 4.5K + Taxes..
i receved the smartearn card..but there is no information that its LTF companion like this anywhere…i contacted Cust care they said if u have received that u have applied for LTF companion card your card will be free…please throw some light on this @DealFinder @hotchap @wackophant
No Idea, I still did not request for companion card, check with CC, Amex CC is one of the best, as them if its companion card and if its LTF, ask them clearly, they will give required info.
Can someone holding Amex Smart Earn card tell me if I pay insurance premium through Amazon and pay the premium amount via this card, will I get 5X reward points or not?
U do get 5x points on gift vouchers, so buy gv first n then pay insurance
I just activated my smartearn credit card but its showing your payment request was declined by your bank while i am trying to use anywhere online

I spent 2500 on grofers and 2500 on flipkart this month. And got 250 and 500 points for these. For rest of the month it wont give me any benefits. And for those 2 transactions i earned 2.5% and 5% even if we consider points value 0.25.
since flipkart is a 10x merchant we can get 500 RP for spending 2500.
Assuming 1 RP=0.39, then it is 7.8% discount.
What will be the bestway you to utilize it? Any ideas?

Yes, it’s worth it. You get 2*10=20 points per Rs 100 spent on Flipkart. Each point worth Rs 0.375. So, you get 7.5% cashback.
And yes, points are clubbed across cards.
