I already holds ICICI HPCl credit card with Rs 50K limit.
I am getting shared limit apply option for Amazon pay card.
I don’t want shared limit for both card.
Should I proceed? Please give your suggestions.

Means its best to have single card with 1 lakh limit than two from same bank with 50 thousand and 50 thousand….. Unless… Both are providing some excellent value….

As higher limit… Helps in maintaining credit utilisation ratio… Plus… More the higher limit of card you give for c2c.. Better chances that you get high limit for the card applied…

1. Do you have prime or order much for Amazon – if yes, could be a good option

2. Do you have any other card that gives at least 1% cashback on general txns? – If no, then good option

They will not process Amazon pay ICICI card with separate limit without income/ITR proof.

1. I am a Prime member but nowadays I am not ordering much from Amazon.
2. For 1% cashback, I have Flipkart Axis card.

I can provide both ITR and Salary Slip but I am not getting that option.
Anyway to get that option?

Talk to customer care, they process your application manually.

They are saying that “as this is co branded credit card so we cannot process it without shared limit.”
Any other way?

Then you are left with no option, if you need this card take it. Your limit can be increased later depending on your spending pattern.

If you have flipkart card, then you do not need this.

However, after some time, ICICI tends to create separate limits.

You mean If I take this card on shared limit then at later stage ICICI will allocate separate limit for both cards?

I have a APAY ICICI Credit Card with 2L + limit, how do I get a normal card with shared limit (recent offers are on normal cards so might as well get 1 with shared limit preferably). When I go to apply credit card section it basically is giving me option for a new card instead of shared one.

Earlier I had Secured ICICI credit card, I used it for 2 years and closed it recently. I have unsecured  HPCL card which is nearly 6 months old. I got option to enter existing cards details after closing secured card.
