Latest Vi scam.
Got a call from +91-1408869447, turned out to be a contest call, kept the call ON and continued with my work. It asked a question with answers and told to press 1 for selecting 1st answer or 2 for 2nd answer. As I didn’t bother, after a while it said, sorry that was a wrong answer which truthfully should have been sorry no input received The call got disconnected and I received the message “Thank you for using Contest, You have been charged Rs.3. Your balance is Rs….”

Aldo if you are on DND then request you to raise complaint with TRAI as this against the DND policy.
Complaint with TRAI but how? I never find a way to directly log complaint over them.
VI is a scam itself, but I am amazed they are still doing such balance deduction stuff and earning money. This used to happen with me in 2008, and since then I never looked upon Vodafone.
They used to deduct lots of my balance, whenever I topup they used to deduct money calling VAS, and also used to make balance negative.
At least they are transparent in their scams, they could have chosen not to send the SMS’es for that matter.
