Any app that manages credit card bills automatically?

Some years back CRED app used to handle all my credit cards and used to pay all of the credit card bills automatically with the help of e-mandate. But after some time that option vanished.

Is there any option/app that you may know of which can handle all credit card bills automatically. Earlier CRED used to pay them automatically 3 days before the due date.

I have a HDFC Bank account, a HDFC credit Card, ICICI credit card and an Axis Credit card. HDFC Card is paid via autopay from HDFC account but I have to manually pay other cards bill because I don't have and want other banks savings account just to pay credit card bills automatically.

One more question. Can I link a credit card with my name on it with a savings account in the name of my brother for auto pay. I own an ICICI card but my brother has an ICICI Bank savings account.

HDFC has auto debit option in its bill pay for credit cards, for all supported banks... In HDFC netbanking, select 4th tab "Bill Pay" which will open billpay portal in new tab. There you can add credit card as billers. Turn the "SmartPay" toggle on. It'll look like this image below. I took Axis cc for example.

You've the option to select dates and limit too for each card/biller when it should be paid. Bill will be auto-presented to hdfc via billdesk system I think, and if bill amount is more than your preset limit, hdfc will ask for your confirmation. If they get no confirmation from you, bill will not be paid. You can set limit to 1 lakh each cc biller so this situation never arrives and all your cards are paid on time.

Best thing about this is you can use hdfc debit card as payment option, so you can take that benefit if you've easyshop platinum or millenia debit card. Else select netbanking.

Since you hdfc cc is already auto paid via autopay, add you icici and axis cc as billers here. Both ICICI and Axis are supported.

Autodebit option is available on ICICI and Axis mobile banking app. Might be available for other banks also.

They all have autodebit but with their own bank accounts. HDFC Card auto debit works with HDFC account only. The same goes with ICICI and Axis. SBI is better in this as it supports autodebit even with other banks savings account.

About your 2nd question, yes you can link but I'm not sure of autopay there.

In iMobile app -> Cards and Forex -> "Link Credit Card" option.

When it is linked, click on that card -> "Manage Card" tab -> scroll down till you see "register for auto debit" option.

But you won't need to do all this if you setup your card in your hdfc account, which is a better option as well, as finances should be kept separate. You and your brother (if aged > 25) are NOT one family in the eyes of taxman.

First, I would like to thank you for your reply and your valuable suggestions. I really appreciate that.
I tried the steps you mentioned.
My conclusion so far.
HDFC Autopay does not work with a credit card as BBPS/Billdesk does not report MAD or TAD to the HDFC portal unlike the case with electricity bills in which you put the consumer number and ta-da you get the amount to be paid.

The above is with debit card as payment method but still it does not let me enable smart pay.

The above one is with Savings account. Still no success.

I welcome suggestions if any. Thank you @atx88

Thank You again.
I tried to add my card to his account but it returned with the warning "different PAN card" and didn't let me go further.

WBSEDCL electricity bills are also not allowed to be enabled for smartpay (active biller)... Only broadband bill working on smartpay (Alliance).

Something seriously wrong with the billpay portal...
