I have a priority card from Axis , not attractive at all. 10RP for 200 rs spend.

1 RP = 0.20

Yes, but better than nothing if provided LTF.

Rather than applying for this and getting cibil enquiry. I can apply for any better card (maybe LTF)

THOUGHTS?

Yes CIBIL enquiry will reduce 3 points temporary but for new credit line, your CIBIL will increase after few months later.

So take it if a LTF card.

If citi is in your radar, then wait and tread cautiously, as their chances of rejection are higher. Wait for 6 months to apply citi card, and then once its done, go for the iconia Amex card as its anyways available easily these days via bankbazaar

Take Myzone as LTF I think they give Myzone & Neo only as LTF , Then after that take Axis Flipkart along with it as new application.

If indusind has started providing iconia amex ltf then i think they might devalue this card soon.

move your sal acc to hdfc and try to push them for diners black. in Axis, there is no card which is worth paying money.

Diners Club Black need Rs.1.75 lakh per month salary & that’s the basic criterion(aka no guarantee of approval with just this). smile

there is no hard and fast rule as such. My sal is certainly not 1.75l pm but i received DCB last year so it depends on your relationship with bank , account history and status, status with branch manager and how much business you are giving them.

That was under a special promotional offer where alumni of top institutes were offered DCB even when not meeting the min eligibility criterion. @Budhe-Baba here got this card under same offer despite not meeting the eligibility criterion. Otherwise people here are ready to open a FD of 7-8 lakh for 6-7 months just to get guaranteed approval for this card.

Infinia is invite only and they are now enforcing this rule more than before since they opened DCB to many people . if you have ITR of close to 40 LPA and current card limit close to 8L then it is easier to get invite from your RM.

if this criteria is not fulfilled but lacking by small amount then you can request RM for an invite to Infinia if you have old bank account with Preferred/Imperia status and good business with bank.

One of my colleagues had a sal account with Imperia status and he had about 30L in savings account + FD + Demat. He didn’t fulfill the salary criteria i believe but he didn’t have any HDFC Credit card so i suggested him to ask his RM for infinia. They gave him a Regalia initially and then upgraded it to Infinia later.

Tq.
Some people have both cards DCB+Infinia? Bank people say only one card per customer rule

i doubt if anyone has Infinia and DCB both. HDFC does provide 2 cards based on customer profile and business with bank but only one of the DCB or Infinia is issued and other one could be a lower card like Regalia or so.
ex- I have DCB and Regalia.

Back to Axis, should I even drop my cibil score for neo card, or just get a flipkart card from fk directly.

I have salary account with axis.

Not worth it,try to get axis flipkart card & I also suggest to get sbi simplyclick card which gives 2.5% worth reward points on amazon which you can combine with sbi 10% off offer during sales(like the biggest shopping festival sale in Oct) & 5% sbi yono cashback offer(need sbi bank account). For people starting their career/not spending that much online, sbi simplyclick, axis flipkart & icici amazon pay(free but salary & ITR of 3.6lakh+ is min or if you already have some icici credit card for few months) cards are the best options. smile

Thanks . I will apply for axis flipkart card (I hope they make it LTF)
Then after 6 months I will apply for sbi simply click and basic sbi account for yoni.

Btw, IndusInd employee said they are not giving iconia amex ltf now (mine is under process, let’s hope they clear it). He said that now people can go for aura platinum and then upgrade to iconia with one time fees and then no annual charge . Which I feel is still expensive.
