You can fight for SC smart cc card to make it LTF with their customer support or at least use for FYF + maybe you will get the Nord Tws offer as well.

Just did NPS payment through it and received 2% cb.

Not sure about Tata neu cards cb on govt related payments.

No you have to login to their rewards portal and then claim from there. It will be adjusted in the coming statement. PAIN

NTR = New Tax Regime for FY 2023-24 onwards is way better than current tax regime for certain income slabs if you don't want to get into uncalled for compulsory investments like NPS to reduce tax. You can ask your CA or Google about it.
