My android phone gone dead today, It was working fine till I placed it down, when I picked it up after 30 mins, its all blank. As far as I remember the battery had good charge.

I opened the unit, disconnected the battery and measured the battery voltage, it shows 3.75v , does it mean the battery is good and charged?

You might be right, Its nearly 2 years I am using this, I was planning to use it few more months and complete 2 years, but things didn’t work out as planned, so had to order Moto G9 power today.

3.75 is good to go, but then we can’t be sure if it is holding enough juice, I mean how it does when on a small load. Some batteries do show the nominal voltage but goes low the moment some load is connected across. You may probably hook up an led or measure the same voltage while connected to the phone. Ensure enough care with your probes as to not short any pins.

If my understanding of your philosophy is right, the phone may turn on after you receive your new phone

If it plans to turn on, it is most welcome. I can be put to it some more use.
