If your friend happen to be a female, just treasure this peaceful moment in your life while it lasts 🫤
If one is overweight losing excess fat helps. True in my case.
Excessive snoring needs to be medically examined as it can be life threatening due to oxygen starvation. Doctors often advise CPAP or BiPAP machines in extreme cases to be worn during sleep.
No regular proven methods exist. Nasal sprays only relieve infections, dryness and clogging but not snoring

perfect remedy
The only thing that worked in my case was losing weight, my snoring was of very high decibel, and faced lots of issues in Hostels and PGs.
One of our family members used to snore, and we found that sleeping on their side instead of their back helped reduce the snoring; in fact there was no snoring as long as he slept on his side!
Thanks everyone.
Seems like loosing weight seems like a perfect solution. Will update in a month abt this remedy.

Haha this remind me of my old days. I woke up full floor of the hospital with my snoring and the nurse had to wake me up as 5-7 rooms complained about it. 😂

all the best for the journey 😬
I snore really loud and am afraid of what it might do when I fall asleep on the airplane. I am not overweight, and also irrespective of being tired, I snore. I think I will need to visit a doctor as I want to travel in Business Class but am afraid of getting judged when I snore.
Losing weight is best as long term and sleeping sideways is short term remedy.
As Inder_1990 said, sleeping on the side seems to work in quite a few cases. However, if someone has never slept on their side all their life, it can be very difficult for them to make this change.
I also snore very loud. There is an app named snorelab which calculate your snore loudness and frequency. Its also suggest the possible remedies.
I also have gone dns surgery which helped but still not enough.
Its really embarassing when you are sleeping nearby someone and they complaint of your snoring. I am thinking of going for surgery for snoring.
