What’s the reason of vertigo ?
Have you went through any medical problem recently ?
Get your hemoglobin and BP checked…
I had such a problem 2 years back due to excessive heat in summer, nothing helped and it went of its own later.
I suggest you to eat healthy food and fruits.
went to GP and ENT but none try to figure out exact reason. they simply prescribed medicine..
How are you sure it’s vertigo? What are your symptoms apart from what you’ve mentioned?
as per doctor it is vertigo…although none conducted test to determine what exactly it is.
world starts spinning wen i tilt head left side and look up…..and head become heavy and uncontrollable wen i look down normally.
Can you balance yourself on one leg? If yes how do you feel?
yes i can balance on one leg…feel normal.
I suffer same sometimes, with additional buzzing sound in my right ear. It is called tinnitus in my case.
Doctors can separate dizziness from vertigo by asking a simple question: “Is the world spinning, or are you lightheaded?” If the world appears to be spinning, you have true vertigo. If you are lightheaded, you are experiencing dizziness.
Tests
Tests to determine the type of vertigo include:
* Head-thrust test: You look at the examiner’s nose, and the examiner makes a quick head movement to the side and looks for correct eye movement.
* Romberg test: You stand with feet together and eyes open, then close your eyes and try to maintain balance.
* Fukuda-Unterberger test: You’re asked to march in place with your eyes closed without leaning from side to side.

This is the most comprehensive yet simplified article I could find about vertigo.
If vertin didn’t worked. Try taking Vertizac Tablet(Medicine composition: Cinnarizine, Dimenhydrinate).
It worked for me.
For proper Diagnosis you needed to ascertain if any sound in ear. If yes then go to a good ENT specialist.
If no sound then you need to see a neurologist and get MRI done for proper diagonsis.
In between try to get proper sleep and low salt diet.
If looking for a good ENT specialist I will recommended Dr kirtne of Mumbai. There is 3 month waiting period for his appointment. But he is one of the best docter in India for ear related vertigo.
