Someone used my Amazon prime account and purchased Google Play GC worth around 1350/-.
Is there a way to get it back other than Amazon cc as I am trying it anyways.

They said this is recharge and recharges can’t be refunded

Check this thread
No help from them.
Not even giving any information even which of my logged in devices did it. They are saying they will give such info only to law enforcement agencies.
Just noticed, those vouchers are also redeemed
Now that seems like intentional purchase and not by mistake.
Amazon’s fraud team is too arrogant in the way they interact. Did not help me with anything other than saying someone who is using my Amazon act did it
Google customer support is a bit better. But they are asking for what email ids I suspect, this is definitely not easy to get as suspect will definitely not give away his mail id through which he redeemed.
Is your account 2 factor verification enabled

Yeah, I know who all(only 2 other other than immediate family) are using my account.
I am 99.999% sure who might have done this. But no use without any proof.

If you have willingly given access to your account to others for some petty gains, then you also have to accept the risks involved. Amazon will not accept fraud claims in 2 factor activated accounts.

What petty gains in sharing my Amazon prime account with someone I know? 🤔

Google support should definitely be able to track which account redeemed those codes. But I doubt if they will disclose it to you.

Some people “lend” their Amazon prime account to “friends” for watching primevideos for mere 100 rupees or so. Just saying.
Anyways, since you intentionally shared your account with others, Amazon and Google won’t be of much help since it’s clearly not their fault; you need to actually hunt down those 2 friends of yours XD

Just ask your friend/relative about this purchase
Someone might have paid it with amazon pay balance because that’s what comes up whenever you choose to pay bill/recharge.
This might be an honest mistake
Even i had similar incidents with my cousin
never lend prime account to others,
My colleague use mine and redeemed 1k voucher and did not even tell me for 25-30 days that she has added to my account.
I used up and when she later asked about the pay balance, I had to pay up.
Now, they even ask for 5% CB on using icici card (faaltu ka sir dird)😪

and accounts that have paylater activated

Yeah, atleast they said if I give any suspected email ids, they will tell if it matches. But the suspect will clearly not give me his mail id in which he activated Google play recharge code.
That’s the only issue.
Infact I know who might have done this, but no use without any proof.

I thought too, that it could be a honest mistake.
But when I confronted him, he straight away disagreed that he bought any . Also both the codes are used.
So clearly not by mistake.
Any sense of thread title with the incident?

Someone bought Google play GV on my behalf.
So I wanted to know if I redeem the GV, is there a way to get my money back.
