Anyone bought printer last sale?

I want to buy a printer for home usage earlier I had hp worked for 5 year now not powering on Maximum 10 prints per month average and scan 20-30 pls suggest some printers. I’m inclined towards Canon printers but heard that it needs ink filled cartigrde for scanning also pls suggest alll in one printer

Can I use the scan facility without ink cartigde or with empty ink cartridge?
