Does anyone have experience about Flipkart exchange program for washing machine, I want to exchange but there is little rusting at the back, will they accept?

You could have rejected the new order if they were not ready to take the old one, and flipkart does it because of their sister site 2gud, since they resell they want to squeeze maximum profit
My was not in working condition, I gave 200rs to Flipkart pick up guy, and he marked it as working.
since you’re is only rushed, I think they will accept

They don’t check much for large appliances like refrigerator and washing machine
You can give it a try and incase they don’t accept u can pay the difference amount on spot
Didnt accepted in my case. it was rusting from bottom.
They wont accept even if there is little rust at bottom or back side.
If they accept you are lucky else try giving some money to pickup guy like someone said
I had the worst experience with Amazon no resting or anything, but there was minor scratches on the machine cover (cats) & they declined it
I can only assume flipkart would be even worse.
I would advise to go offline (with protection) & look around if you are planning to buy in a exchange.
if they reject to accept the old appliance, can we reject the delivery and ask for refund ?
Mine was also having a little crack on the cover. They were showing some tantrums but after pressurizing them a bit they took away the old machine. Just convince those pick up guys. They will do it.
Delivered just now ..Should I wait till installation or just use it ?..?
I want to exchange my washing machine which is getting on, water inflow coming & rotating but water is not getting drain. will that accept by amazon in exchange offer.
Fraud .. My Washing machine almost like new even plastic wrapper is not removed. they just want to make some excuse to make you pay the rest of the money of take the product in least price ..
Never buy anything in exchange in Flipkart.
Flipkart washing machine exchange offer fraud. They reduced amount in my final bill 1800 after inspection the my washing machine they aking for 300 rupees it is working condition only.
when i was buying a new washing machine with the exchange of my old washing machine then flipcart was not accepting the order. i tried many times for the order placement but it was just not working at all but if i tried to buy the new washing machine then they were accepting the order. very bad and rude flipcart is.
They will reject.
Better sell it in local market …
Even a dead washing machine goes for 1000 Rs.. Check with any of scrap collector
if working try to sell in via OLX or similar
No way.. Sadly kabariwalas in our locality pays way less then I guess. Will get 200-300 here that too if I’m very lucky.
@drnishant123 ask scrappers first then, maybe you’ll be lucky. From FK you will get probably like me only 500 ₹ due to the rusting.
Let us know also, how much they say.. will be helpful info.
I have a recent experience of exchanging a washing machine. All was perfect the body had rust in bottom. However I needed to change the body costing me 4k as per my local repairman.
I saw the pickup guy had to feed in all the details and take snap when any issue found. They are also working for a company, I don’t think bribing them made sense. I was given 1/3rd of the amount promised, which I know is quite low and I could have made a better deal on OLX. But current times are different and since the WM needed a repairing for working properly, I didn’t want to go through the OLX route and gave away whatever little I got. A good thing about flipkart is .. you can pay the balance amount and exchange happens still. Say for my case I was promised 1450, due to the rust and a bit damaged body I was given options:
- Pay balance 950 in cash and make the exchange
- Don’t do exchange and pay 1450 in cash
- Don’t accept the new machine and cancel the order.
I took the 1st option, transporting a big appliance is not easy and I am sure the washing machine would have been lying idle for quite some time and I had to give it away to kabari wala.
There was slight rusting towards the back side and he rejected. I had expected a rejection since the display had issues displaying alphabets & numbers, but to my surprise he didn’t even reach to check that since he made up his mind to cancel exchange on the basis of rusting.
So until and unless it is non rusted and working well they won’t accept
Flipkart ,fake and fraud are synonyms. Don’t even think about it, they want new products, they need reasons to reject. i have suffered a lot because of flipkart exchange offer.
ended up with 2 refrigerator(old+new) and 2 washing machines(old+new)
