Is anyone here using Paytm food wallet? My company has started issuing meal voucher in Paytm.
How to manage to use it? Can use it online only like zomato, bigbasket etc. as for offline it requires QR code which most places don’t have.
Earlier they used to give Zeta meal voucher which was convenient as it had a physical card too for swiping and could be used at many places.
Any trick to use it then please share.

I went to Dmart expecting I would use up this meal voucher but there also couldn’t use it. Scan not available.
I don’t know about the transfer thing. Need a food merchant friend for that.
I also use food wallet, normally at every kirana/food point/ online food websites this is applicable. Food balance is automatically deducted first than other wallet balance.
There are some merchants which are registered as “Food merchants” at Paytm. When you make payment (via scan or phone number), if it’s a food merchant, it’ll automatically deduct your balance from your food wallet first. You don’t get an option to select if you want to use food wallet balance or not, it’ll be automatically deducted first for any transaction to a food merchant.
Recently my company also switched to paytm food wallet. Need moreinputs here.

You can use paytm meal voucher to any paytm accepting outlet which is registered in food category .
I can use that in jiomart, reliance smart offline stores, zomato, fasos and it works even with small small road shops.
