Anyone knows about Paypal international payment problem?

I got an international payment of a few dollars in paypal, but unfortunately I had not done my paypal KYC by then. So I received the following email from them:
Before we can deposit the funds into your account, we need a bit more information about your account or recent transactions. To provide that, just log in to your account, and go to your account overview. Select the More menu, then choose the link that takes you to our Resolution Centre.
Please provide the missing information by 1 May 2021, or the funds will be returned to the sender.
So I completed the KYC today and added a bank account. Will i receive the fund sometime later or is it already reversed? Anyone has any experience regarding that?

But the email hinted that it is waiting for me to verify before transferring the fund to me. Why is it returning it to sender? I doubt the sender will send it again ☹️
Situation changed after paypal closed their India operation, now not sure because foreign currency is usually not allowed to be stayed in paypal India account for long. Maybe if paypal holds this money in their international account & wait for your kyc to verify before transferring money to paypal India account then I think they can hold off for such long period but if not then most probably the money will be returned back to sender.

Since you have provided missing information (KYC) in time (1 May 2021), funds should credit into your account within next couple of days, after they verify your KYC.
Did you recieved money in your paypal wallet in dollars or something? If yes then, the amount must still be showing in your account I guess…
Usually when you confirm your bank, it takes 2-3 working days to confirm your account(They do this by depositing fractions of ruppee) after then it automatically deducts from your balance(Around 4-7am) and gets deposited to your bank account by next day
No I haven’t received it in PayPal wallet 🙁. And for some skeptical reason I tried to talk to a customer care agent. She told me that the funds have already been sent back to the sender and I should ask them to send it again which is in direct contradiction to the email by PayPal. I talked to two customer service people both said the same thing. Don’t know which thing to believe, the email or them
Although paypal is not allowed to hold foreign currency in your account, they can put a hold on it until it is cleared.. The funds would show up in the transaction details and if it was returned or if it was transferred to your bank after deducting like 5% fees..
